Seeing is Believing
Mr Wonderful’s aim in SEEING IS BELIEVING was to capture the true, authentic HBO brand in an engaging, emotive way by defining the brand’s values and character and how that influences its programming. They wanted to make the Free Preview Offer more of an invitation or cinematic event and less of a hard direct sell by blending the two worlds of commercial and brand anthem. The environment is built entirely in CG and incorporates a large central screen encircled by circular strips of screens resembling wings. The space and its screens gave us the opportunity to create dynamic camera moves on a large scale by combining it with live action green screen shots of our talent.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians
Mr Wonderful crafted this launch campaign around the power of Family, their Strength, Unity and the Love the Kardashian’s have for one another. Our use of bold type against stark white backdrops combined with sound bytes further emphasizes their family dynamic. We also created a digital component including Social Headers for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. Marketing banners, E! Now App skins, as well as VOD/TVE and Affiliate deliverables.
Mr Wonderful was tasked with the creation of a Hallmark / Brand ID for Telemundo Deportes that advances the brand and evolves the current brand look. Its purpose is to telegraph the content’s energy and passion for sports while positioning the network as a prestige brand and the best provider of the biggest global sports.
Work like a Network
As one YouTube viewer wrote, “Microsoft needs to make all of their commercials this good.” When Microsoft asked us to create a high-concept film showcasing the interconnected world of business we took off around the globe to deliver.
The custom data visualization device we designed was the finishing touch on this high-value production.
Truth & Power Launch
In this provocative animated promo for their new show Truth and Power, Pivot TV wanted to capture the essence of the modern-day tools employed to expose injustice and enact change: cameras, laptops, mobile phones and the like. The 10-part series highlights the stories of ordinary people going to extraordinary lengths to expose large-scale injustice. The spot was built as a donut so that footage content can be inserted to tease specific episodes.
When Puma asked the question “What are you training for?” who better to answer than New England Patriots Wide Receiver Julian Edelman. And when NBC Sports needed an idea and execution to tie it all together, Mr Wonderful answered the call. In this explosive ten second disruptor for Puma we designed and directed Julian performing a variety of workout routines in a stylized 3D stadium environment.
